RED DOT PISTOL


  Introduction to the Red Dot Pistol course is a one day course designed for those who wish to transition from traditional iron sights to modern pistol mounted red dot systems. This course is also ideal for those starting their pistol shooting with a red dot. We will go over the benefits of utilizing a red dot sight over traditional irons and learn how to best utilize the dot to increase your efficiency and effectiveness with shooting a pistol.

Safety and Range Briefing

Benefits of a Red Dot Sight

Zeroing and verification of zero

Breaking the shot

Remaining focused 

Increasing your confidence

Acquiring your dot from the draw

Breathing techniques

Trigger Squeeze


Required Equipment:

Pistol with a properly mounted dot optic 

Holster / Belt/ Minimum of two magazines (Must be outside the waist band holster)

350 rounds of correct ammunition (NO RELOADS)

Proper training attire (dress for the weather)

No High Heels allowed

No Open Towed Shoes

Ear Protection

Eye Protection

Head Protection (ball cap)

Water will be provided

Bring your lunch and snacks
